More about Guy

Guy was born in Auckland, with an early love for BMX bikes and playing in a variety of sports such as Soccer and Rugby.

As a teenager he exchanged his bike for running shoes, and he discovered triathlon late in high school. In 1997 Guy took part in his first triathlon and he was hooked!

After University Guy traveled overseas and had a taste of the competition it had to offer. In 2008 Guy started to race the IRONMAN 70.3 distance and realized while he’d lost some of his top end speed , his ability to swim at the front was still there. This sparked a fire and by the end of 2009 Guy had handed in full time work for being a full time professional Triathlete .

Guy splits his time between Perth Australia racing around the world, and developing the coaching platform GK Endurance that he runs with wife Kate.
